Our House Rules
- 1 is always a failure, 20 is always a success
- In combat, a critical his is maximum damage on the first die + roll the second die + bonuses

- Metagamers can and will be flogged in public
- No encumbrance but no carrying around the inventory of the local Gnome Depot
- No cantrips as a bonus action unless they specifically state in their description that they can be cast as a bonus action like Magic Stone
- If an ally is able to cover you moving out of melee range you do not take an attack of opportunity. (Example: Lyrinus stepping back from the door with Mordrath beside him.) This only applies if you began the round in melee – no hit and run tactics
- Not using optional flanking rules
- If you are unavailable to play your character follows the party around but doesn’t interact with the world
- Teleport will be run a bit more like 2E with chances of failure. Also, it may not always work between dimensions
- Masterwork Weapons: cost is 1.5 normal weapon; weapon does +1 damage but loses edge on a critical miss. Can be repaired by a weapon smith for 5-10 GP. Needs to be a weapon smith – regular black smith is able to do the repair. Also, the mending cantrip cannot repair the weapon
- Alcohol is a poison and can be cured with a paladin’s lay on hands ability
