Lyr and the Titan

In the distance, Iapetus rallied his forces and moved forward. Deformed humanoids joined the cultists, forming a sprawling army that marched towards you and your allies.

Zargon, standing next to you, comments “Well, I hope your friends have found Cottos and are on the way.” He turns to face his undead minions while weaving dark energies in the air. He points to the forces of Iapetus and the sea of zombies, skeletons and other foul creatures moved forward.

“You know, working with you hasn’t been as horrible as I thought it might be. However, I’ll have to repay you for this,” tapping his metal arm. You remember the blinding power you used to sever Zargon’s arm not so long ago. The glimmering purple replacement reminds you that vampires do not die easily.

Far to the left, you see Hassim mount Omaira as she unfolds her magnificent golden wings and begins to take flight. Below them, a fiery wave of creatures moves to clash with Iapetus’ army.

You adjust your shield and unsheath Sol’s Silver, uttering ‘alanga’ to summon its flaming power. You shudder, reaching to touch the case that holds the Horn of Fate, knowing that if Iapetus wins the day, Zargon will be the least of your worries. You feel a touch on your shoulder – it is Lerali who has arrived with Kalix and the swamp goblins. They ask if the others succeeded. You shake your head, wondering where that stubborn cleric is. The last thing you remember as Mordrath led Juliote and Zoro through the doorway was his grim look. “You know I hate splitting the party. Don’t trust Zargon – he’s not doing this for you.”

You march grimly towards Iapetus as Sol’s Silver keens eagerly. Iapetus answers your challenge and moves in your direction, brushing aside the battling masses. He swings his mighty scythe…

A knocking sound wakes you. You are drenched in sweat and as you shake off the nightmare, you are left with an image seared into your brain.
